Performance Realty & Associates is a home-based business registered with the state of NC as a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) and licensed with the NC Real Estate Commission, license number C18062.

Founded in 2006, the company was forced to contract in 2009 after the biggest real estate decline in memory.  Performance Realty then confined its activities to property management until four years later in 2013 when it again offered full service real estate services. 

Then on September 1, 2015, the Owner/Broker resumed an affiliation with Preferred Realty in Hendersonville, NC, for the purpose of helping clients with the buying and selling of their residential property and again limiting Performance Realty to property management only.

Performance Realty is independently owned by Robert 'Bruce' Benton and the Benton Trust.  Bruce is the managing member and the Broker-In-Charge, being a licensed real estate agent since 2005, having lived and worked in North Carolina since 1987.  Bruce also holds a B.S. in Engineering and has 35 years in manufacturing engineering and management.  Bruce has also completed a course of study in real estate appraisals and has successfully passed the NC State examination for real estate appraisers.  While Bruce is not a licensed appraiser, this is still invaluable experience when estimating for you the expected sales price of a property.
